The regional center is strategically located in the San Fernando Valley (approximately 25 miles northeast of downtown LA) and has become the gathering place of choice for locals and their families, combining "Old Town" aesthetic charm with modern shopping and entertainment attractions.

The project is recipient of two of the most prestigious design awards in the country: the 1999 Urban Land Institute's Award of Excellence for a Retail Project, and the 2000 International Council of Shopping Centers' 24th International Design and Development Award for "Innovative Design and Construction of a New Project".
