Paul J. Kurzawa
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer for Caruso Affiliated, Paul Kurzawa is responsible for all aspects of the company's diverse and growing portfolio of real estate properties, which has at its core some of the country's premier retail developments. He oversees property acquisitions and new developments which includes securing entitlements and related government and community relations, property management, asset management, leasing, marketing and public relations activities as well as and property related financial and legal matters. As the company expands into new business ventures, Kurzawa will also be responsible for these new business enterprises.
Prior to joining Caruso Affiliated in February 2006, he spent six years with Westfield Corporation in the United States as Vice President Management responsible for the strategic management of all Westfield center operations for the retail and office assets in Los Angeles. He was also involved in the redevelopment of other Westfield shopping center properties including Westfield Solano and Westfield Valley Fair in Northern California, as well as the expansion and redevelopment of Westfield Century City in Los Angeles.
He previously held senior management and marketing roles for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and ERE Yarmouth, both in Australia and the United States.
Mr. Kurzawa received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science/public policy from the Australian National University. He has served both as an executive member and board member of the Century City Chamber of Commerce as well as a board member of the Starlight, Starbright Children's Foundation.
