Joel Moskowitz
Executive Vice President, General Counsel

As Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Mr. Moskowitz heads the Legal Department, and both advises the company directly and supervises outside counsel.

In almost 40 years of legal practice, Mr. Moskowitz has been a partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, has founded his own law firm, has been a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California and was appointed by California's Governor to head the state's Toxic Substances Control Programs. He has argued before the United States Supreme Court, the appellate courts of several federal circuits, and the California Supreme Court.

Mr. Moskowitz is the author of books on investing and on environmental liabilities in real estate transactions, and has served on the editorial boards of several professional publications.

Mr. Moskowitz is a graduate of U.C.L.A. and U.C.L.A. Law School.
